Our Vision Statement
The Northern Summit Democratic Coalition exists to be the focal point for Democrats and Independents in Macedonia, Northfield/Northfield Center, Sagamore Hills, Twinsburg, Twinsburg Township, and Reminderville for the following purposes:
● Provide a venue for Democrats and Independents to channel their political energies and interests, as well as to socialize ● Establish a Democratic presence in these communities in northern Summit County through coalition activities and media contact ● Communicate and cooperate with other Democratic clubs in the area ● Give coaltion members representation and a collective voice at the county and state levels of the Democratic Party ● Encourage public officials to adopt pro-Democratic positions ● Help to field and support Democrats for local offices ● Sponsor speakers and forums on issues of concern ● Provide organizational resources for Democratic nominees and issues at the local, state, and national levels
